Trader Helper vs. MT4 Order Entry Trader Helper vs. MT4 Position Management

FXI - Trader Helper Screen Shots

Here are some screenshots of our FXI - Trader Helper Basic trading tool for MetaTrader 4.  We believe that if you are serious about trading, professional order entry, trade management, and order management systems are necessary.  To that end, we developed FXI - Trader Helper Basic to improve and upgrade the order entry systems of MetaTrader 4.

Single Orders

This tab of the FXI - Trader Helper Basic will allow you to enter orders based on traditional order systems. You can determine the type of order you want, set an expiry for the order, or base your profit and stop loss on the Average True Range of the pair.

Further, our entry price is based on the bid and ask and moves with changes in the bid and ask. The take profit and stop loss levels are set based on your entry price, not the current bid and ask, unlike MetaTrader 4's order entry system.

Parked Orders

Parked Orders are one or more orders that you use on a regular basis that you create and then save.  In the image above you can see that there are three orders, a Buy Market and a Buy Limit 25 pips away from the current market and another Buy Limit 50 pips away.  These orders share a Group # for easy identification.

You can select one or more of the orders and click Send Trade to have all the orders sent in at once. This way you can quickly react to market conditions and send all your orders exactly as you like them, over and over again. No more tedious order entry process, just set up the orders you like and have them available at any time that Trader Helper is running..

Pending Orders

From this tab you can view all of your pending orders. You can the entry, take profit, and stop loss for each order, and the potential profit and loss that each order has. Futher, you can select one or more orders and modify them. Thus you can set the stop or take profit for a group of orders that are yet to be filled with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Further from the screenshot above you can see that you can link orders and create One Cancels the Other (OCO) sets. The orders in the image below have OCO #'s set to 1 and 2. What this means is that if either of the EURUSD entry orders in OCO set #1 are triggered, the other EURUSD order will be canceled. Likewise, for either of the USDCHF orders that share an OCO #, once one is triggered, the other will be canceled.  However, you can link any number or type of order you like and are not limited to two orders or orders having to be on the same currency pair.

Modify Pending Orders

If you have selected an order to modify, this dialog will appear. From it you can change the entry price, if it is a single order being modified.  Further, you can alter the take profit, and stop loss based on the entry price and not the bid / ask of the pair as MetaTrader 4 does.

Open Positions

The Open Positions tab displays all of your entered trades. Not only do you see where all of the important price points are, but we have organized each trade so that you can see what your total profit or loss is on that trade. Unlike MetaTrader 4 we have included the trade profit, commission, and swap to show the Net Profit for the trade.

Further, you have the ability to select one or more open positions and modify their take profit and stop loss levels.

Modify Open Positions

If you have selected a position to modify, this dialog will appear. From it you can alter the take profit, and stop loss based on the entry price and not the bid / ask of the pair as MetaTrader 4 does. Further you an see the total profit and loss you have on a multi-entry position if you have selected more than one position to modify.

Order History

The Order History tab displays all of your closed and canceled orders. You can view your entry and exit, the take profit and stop loss you had set on the order, and the Net Profit for each trade. Unlike MetaTrader 4 we have included the trade profit, commission, and swap to show the Net Profit for the trade.

Further, you can just select any number of rows and type CTRL - C to copy the data and paste it into Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet for your analysis.
